eBay (in the rearview mirror)

The era of the small seller on eBay is coming to an end. Consumers appear to be tiring of online auctions, and are leaning more toward fixed-price sites such as Amazon.com. Sensing that trend eBay and Buy.com have struck a deal allowing Buy.com to sell millions of items without paying the full complement of eBay fees. eBay is signaling that its future lies in big, reliable sellers, not the mom-and-pop shops.

Wonder what will happen to Craig's List?
