Remember the zoot suit? Probably not, as it was only popular in the 1940s. Remember bell bottom jeans, tie-dyed t-shirts and the mullet haircut? Remember the shorts Larry Bird wore while in the NBA and Dr. J's 'fro? That's long ago. If you're under the age of 40 you're most likely fashion conscious. Do you remember what you wore this spring, last spring, the spring before and five years ago? Always changing. If you're under 40 there's a 40% chance you have one or more tattoos. There's a 100% chance there are clothes in your closet you'll never wear again. So just what makes you so sure you'll want to wear that tattoo the rest of your life?
Johnny Depp has a tattoo on his shoulder that reads "Wino Forever." When he was dating Winona Ryder it read "Winona Forever." Whatever.
Tattoos can say alot about a person. Some see tattoos as a sign that person is a rebel. Some see tattoos as a sign that person is stupid. Many employers see visible tattoos as a sign that person will have limited job possibilities.
How do I see tattoos? I see them as a sure sign that those who have them have money to waste. And in times when governments have tight budgets, which is usually the case, I see tattoos as a source of taxable income.
